I entered the business of real estate during a hard period in the industry, at a time when other agents were being squeezed out by the tougher market conditions of the day.  Facilitated by my fondness for working with people face to face though, and a passion for tackling new challenges on a daily basis, I took the opportunities of those tougher years to learn, grow stronger, and to always make it my mission to provide clients with consistently excellent service.

Even as things in general have begun to improve, to a certain extent those tougher market conditions are still with us today - in the form of stricter underwriting guidelines, the spread of short sales/foreclosures, and a greater need than ever for local knowledge and expertise when conducting transactions.  An expert on offer negotiation and strategy, a lifelong resident of the DC area, and constantly aware of the changing landscape of loan rules and regulations, I strive to position my clients for success in their real estate related efforts.

Over the years, individuals and organizations that I have been proud to call my clients have included everything from first-time homebuyers on a limited budget, to Fortune 500 companies relocating employees into and out of the region.  From officers serving in our armed forces, to the many young professionals that live here, I have represented a pool of buyers and sellers as diverse and dynamic as the region we all call home.

I am honored to have been named a 'Top Producer' within the Northern VA Association of Realtors for the past four years running.

No matter how many people I meet in this business, I continue to take pleasure in getting to know every one of my clients as I assist them in navigating the dynamic Washington area market.  Working with me, you will never experience being passed off to another agent for showings or open houses, feel artificial limits on the number of homes that can be seen, or any pressure whatsoever towards premature decision making.  From home finding and negotiation, to staging and price positioning, to being present for home inspections and meetings with contractors, and finally to settlement... what I provide is service and assistance at every step of the transaction.  I adjust to your personal pace and style in order to ensure that your experience is an enjoyable one, and I strive to make every one of my clients feel like they are my only clients.

Personal Background

 

I have been fortunate to call the DC area home for the majority of my life, having gone to school locally in McLean and then later attending the prestigious Thomas Jefferson High School for Science & Technology.  Drawn to the creative energies of technology and marketing, I left college early to co-found an Internet marketing company focused on the evolution of web-based advertising.  Technology trends and financial news continue to be two areas I follow closely, both for my enduring interest, and for their influence on the business of real estate.
